We offer unhurried confidence building motorcycle & scooter training for complete beginners, Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), DSA Test Training, Direct Access for an unrestricted licence & refresher courses for rusty riders returning to motorcycling.

CBT :
Confused? Then CLICK CBT for full detailsCBT is a Compulsory Basic Training course (not a test!), for anyone from 16 years of age with a provisional or full car driving licence. This very enjoyable one day training course can be completed on a 50cc automatic through to a geared 125cc motorbike or even a 600cc for the more experienced. On successful completion of the CBT, we issue you on the day with a legal certificate (DL196) that validates your license entitling you to ride on the highways with L plates. (Subject to the normal legal requirements, Road fund licence/MOT/Insurance etc....) CBTor take further training with GO and then the DSA Motorbike Mod 1 & Mod 2 Tests. Then rip up those L-Plates!
'A' Direct Access Scheme / Full Motorcycle Licence:
You must be over 24, and have passed the DSA Motorbike Theory Test. The Honda CBF600ABS motorcycle's used at GO, meet the legal requirement to take the DSA Mod 1 & 2 Motorcycle Tests at the DSA MPTC in Quedgeley, Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This course is conducted dependant on ability over 2,3 or 4 days training. This includes accompanied rides with a fully qualified instructor to both test's. On passing you are qualified to ride any machine regardless of cc or power output. GO have over a 90% first time pass rate, v National average of just over 50%!
'A2' Restricted Motorcycle Licence:
Once you have passed the DSA Bike Theory Test, This GO Training course is conducted on Honda bikes, usually for 2 or 3 days (dependant on ability) and includes accompanied rides to take the Mod 1 & 2 Bike Test's at the DSA MPTC in Quedgeley, Gloucester, Gloucestershire. On passing this test you are qualified to ride any machine producing upto 35kw. GO have over a 90% first time pass rate v National average of just over 50%!
A1 Light Motorcycle Licence
Course taken on the 125cc.

No experience, never ridden a scooter or motorbike? Only ridden an auto and want to ride a geared bike? Unsure about CBT or Direct Access? During our extremely popular 2 hours lessons we will tailor our tuition to suit your needs. From the very basics, through to gear changing, or extra U-Turn practice. These unhurried sessions in a large safe off road DSA approved area will boost your confidence and help you decide what next steps to take.
